The book “Green History of German-Georgian Dialogue: Ideas and Figures” tells the history of nature study, creation of forest-parks and recreational spaces in Georgia. You will get to know Georgian and German scholars, women who contributed to the creation, dissemination and use of natural science knowledge.

The book is accompanied by a collection of information cards, which will introduce the reader to the activities and thoughts of nature researchers and secretaries in Georgia.

The book was prepared and published with the financial support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) project “Integrated Biodiversity Management in the South Caucasus” (IBIS). (author of the project, professor Lela Gafrindashvili).
